Carley and Tate (Iowa Equine Portrait Session)

Carley was the perfect subject to start off my equine portrait portfolio. She’s a ball of energy with a beautiful smile, topped with a boatload of pride in her horse. Tate’s a perfect match for her- a sweet, calm yet quirky gelding that made for some AWESOME photos!

We met up at Squaw Creek Park in Marion, IA, right next to the equestrian trail. This quickly became one of my new go-to spots for equine sessions! It was easy to get to, and we had all sorts of choices for backgrounds.
